Lovely Daughter is growing up fast! We have somewhat neglected her opportunity to take swimming lessons. She loves to splash around in pools but going under was not something she wanted to explore. So Very Involved Mom and Lovely Daughter went shopping for swimming goggles. With the incentive to wearing this fun, pink accessory, she had her first lesson. She clung to her teacher! But eventually swished her head in the water. By the end of the first lesson, she glided to the wall.
Yayyy!
Also, just wanted to post this next picture. Lovely Daughter is a collector. She'll gather various items (not necessarily toys) around the house and place them in baskets, small boxes, purses, bags, etc. Her new obsession is designing within the collecting. You can't see this in the picture, but inside each rain boot are other collections: rocks in one and trinkets in the other.
It's just fascinating to me to see her creativity!
